MetaSystems Workshop in Dehradun, India

A “Hands-on Workshop on FISH and its application in Pathology and Clinical Medicine” was organized by MetaSystems and Department of Pathology, Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences (HIMS) on 20th and 21st November to demonstrate the applications of FISH in hematological malignancies and solid tumors.
The program was coordinated by Prof. Suresh Jhanwar, Member (Professor) Emeritus, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre, New York and host institute was represented by Dr. Neena Chauhan and team. MetaSystems probes for Tissue FISH, Hematology, Aneusomy and Microdeletion were demonstrated with conventional FISH hybridization and imaging performed with Isis software.
