Probes Workshop in Kolkata, India

A joint FISH workshop was organized by Cytogenetics Department, Tata Medical Center (Dr Mayur Parihar and Team) along with MetaSystems on 4th and 5th May to demonstrate FISH in hematological malignancies and solid tumors. The faculties included Dr Mayur, Arun SR, Sipra, Suman and Pranay from Tata Medical Center and from MetaSystems.
The 18 participants of the workshop had the opportunity to hybridize several hematology and TissueFISH probes from the XL range of MetaSystems Probes. Analysis has been done on site using a Metafer automated slide scanning platform by applying the revolutionary RapidScore workflow for FISH analysis automation.
