This probe is IVDR-certified in compliance with the Regulation (EU) 2017/746 on in vitro diagnostic medical devices (IVDR). For organizational reasons, we currently provide only the IVDD product.
The XCE 8 enumeration probe is a qualitative, non-automated test for the detection of copy number variations of chromosome 8 by fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH). The product is intended as a diagnostic aid and assists in disease monitoring. The test population consists of patients with confirmed or suspected acute myeloid leukemia (AML), chronic myelomonocytic leukemia (CMML), chronic myeloid leukemia and myeloproliferative neoplasms (CML/MPN), myelodysplastic neoplasms (MDS) and myelodysplastic/myeloproliferative neoplasms (MDS/MPN). Hybridization is to be performed on methanol/acetic-acid fixed cells derived from bone marrow or peripheral blood.
The XCE 8 blue enumeration probe consists of an aqua-labeled probe hybridizing to centromeric DNA sequences of chromosome 8.
New MetaSystems Office in Latin America
MetaSystems proudly announces the opening of our first subsidiary in the Southern hemisphere. The new office is located in Buenos Aires, Argentina and bears the name MetaSystems Latinoamérica SAS (MetaSystems LatAm). The foundation has been the response to the growing demand on technical knowledge and 'know how' experienced in the last years all over the Latin American territories. MetaSystems LatAm takes care for the organization of sales, support, and customer relation activities in all countries in Latin America. It will manage distributor companies and contacts in the region, and it will facilitate communication between end-users, distributors and headquarters in Germany.
MetaSystems Distributor Meeting 2018 in Nassau, The Bahamas
The yearly MetaSystems Distributor Meeting (DM), brought into life in 2002 as a platform to gather all international partners of MetaSystems and other members of the global MetaSystems family, just ended last week. The DM is being organized in turns by MetaSystems Headquarters, MetaSystems USA (MGI), and MetaSystems Asia. Since MGI is celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2018 they decided to choose a special location: Nassau, The Bahamas!
